Malaysian Strikeforce Roars!!!!(Malaysia 3, Indonesia 0)...

Malaysian forward has again lived up to the fans' wildest expectation in the mauling of the Indonesian by 3 - 0 in Bukit Jalil tonite.

A brace by Safee Sali and a goal by Mohd Ashaari Samsudin has put Malaysian chances in uplifting the much-coveted trophy in the right track. A sea of yellow fan has indeed burnt the passion in each and every player in the winning Malaysian team.

Not to be forgotten, Norshahrul Idlan Talaha's high workrate in dribbling passed a squadron of Indonesian defenders has stamped his mark as the deadliest forward in this region. Due to this, Safee and Mohd Ashaari have converted the much needed goals to be Malaysian's ample cushion in the upcoming return leg in Jakarta soon.

Last but not least, Malaysian fans were definitely the awesomest 12th player on the pitch with their roaring support towards our national hero.

Let's pray for another winning performance in the final leg this coming Wednesday!

INSYA ALLAH, MALAYSIA WILL STEAL THE LIMELIGHT FOR REAL THIS TIME!!!

I'M PROUD TO BE MALAYSIAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AFF Suzuki Cup 2010 - The Yellow & Black Tigers Rock!

Malaysia has once again displayed a gritty performance to eliminate the reigning champion, Vietnam out from the competition. Although Malaysia has opted for a defensive performance in the return leg last nite, it was effective enough to ensure Malaysia's sole chance to advance further is not wasted.

Vietnam, the ASEAN soccer powerhouse appears to be so blunt in front of Malaysian's half, in which their star-studded stikers fumbled at least half a dozen of chances to get into the scoring sheet. Malaysian defense, led by young but matured Muslim Ahmad proved to their critics that age is not a determining factor.

The rakyat of Malaysia are indeed very glad to witness this kind of performance from such a determined squad. My final words are...don't let them down guys!

Amri, Oh Amri...

Amri Yahyah, the Selangor striker might be called upon in the second half for tonite's encounter against the Vietnamese.

He, one of the senior players in team, bears great striking ability but his campaign in the ongoing AFF Cup is rather strange.

One may wonder why STRANGE has been used in this article in order to describe Amri's performance. Indeed, his yo-yo ball-possession skill is something that would make die-hard fan (like me) goes "half-dead".

For an instance, his 2 goals' contribution in the whipping of Laos was absolutely estatic but his control in the rests of midfield's area remains doubtful. How can a midfielder lost a ball so oftenly, especially when national's dignity is at stake?

Thus, he must at least give himself a fine wake-up call to prevent such unwanted "ball-losing moments" to re-occur.

Can "Mak Yong" Delivers?

Norshahrul Idlan Talaha or well-known as Mak Yong among his peers and close buddies is highly expected to deliver in the ongoing AFF Suzuki Cup.

With 2 tournament goals under his belt currently, he is certainly craving for more. The Kelantan hitman was roped in to the current national set up ever since the previous Malaysian coach, B. Sathianathan was at the helm.

His potential in creating chances with his superior dribbling skills is simply remarkable. His ability to tear apart defence of even a highly rated team like the previous encounter with Manchester United had earned him due respect from the very best in the field (i.e. Sir Alex Ferguson).

Notwithstanding with that, his never-say-die attitude has somehow amazed the victory-starved Malaysian soccer fans.

What ever it is, "Mak Yong" is there to "WOW" you!

It's up in the mind...

Malaysian Football Team Is Heading For A Hell Of Reception

Our football team has indeed shown some prominent display thus far. Set aside the brushing by Indonesia in their first game of the group stage, the rests were rather awesome given the fact of past doldrums' circumstances of Malaysian soccer.

However, tonite would be a test of a lifetime for the boys. Hostile reception is welcoming them in Vietnam as the host nation would be surely banking on revenge to bury Malaysia. To substantiate this, their head coach has voiced up Vietnam's main intention, which is to ensure Malaysia succumbs to the humblest defeat at their home soil tonite.

As Rajagobal has said, it's all up to the players. If they choose to be afraid of the mind game played by the Vietnamese, then they are heading to a certain defeat but if they want to defy the odds, their mentality has got to be strong indefinitely.

Well, as the wiseman had once said, "It's not a defeat until we choose it to be that way"...

All the best Malaysia!

Khairul Fahmi Is The Anchor Person

In the ongoing AFF Suzuki Cup 2010, Malaysian's custodian, Khairul Fahmi remains as the vital person to hold the result of the upcoming match (or matches, InsyaAllah...).

Strong showing by the Kelantan's most promising lad has given Malaysia the much needed lifeline during the last Malaysia - Thailand encounter. His display was so full of promises and he is surely Malaysia's best bet to thwart the Laotian attack tomorrow.

We, Malaysians, are indeed very glad to have you in the team, Khairul.

Go and stop 'em, bro!

Will The Indonesians Throw A Game In The AFF Suzuki Cup 2010?

Tomorrow will be the deciding match between Malaysia, Thailand and Laos on whether which team will accompany the Indonesian in the semi final of the AFF Suzuki Cup.

Of course, Thailand is on the driving seat with a margin of 1 point ahead of Malaysia and Laos. However, the real issue is, would Indonesians throw a game just to eliminate the Malaysian's challenge out from the competition?

With strong sentiment of "Vanishing Malaysia" surrounding the Malaysian - Indonesian tie currently, it is no surprise if their football team chooses that negative way as they have got nothing to lose but everything to win at the moment.

Well, the countdown begins...

Malaysia vs Laos - AFF Suzuki Cup 2010

As we all know, Malaysia drew with Thailand today. Malaysia's chances to advance to semi final of the championship are deemed to be over.

Yes, it is right that mathematically, Malaysia's chance in advancing is still there but hope will remain as hope again. Indonesia, with their strong sentiment in vanishing Malaysia, has already advanced to semi final tonight with the demolition of Laos (6 - 0). However, for Malaysia to bank on Indonesia's mercy to beat Thailand on 7/12/2010 (provided Malaysia beats Laos on 7/12/2010) would just be another CLEAR false hope.

In this regards, I strongly believe that Indonesia will not be at their best in their last fixture against Thailand. They might want to let their reserve fills the pitch and let the game be on Thailand's favour.

Well, that's a good lesson for Malaysia anyway. We should not be so 'generous' during our encounter against the Indon the other day.

Till we meet again,

Signing off
