Recently, I was accompanying my eldest son in watching his old-time favorite, the Kung Fu Panda 2 at our "Home Sweet Home".
While watching from one hilarious scene to another, there was a scene in which the heroic panda found out that his beginning was rather horrifying and heart-wrenching. He got to know that his parents dumped him off in order to avoid the evil peacock from wiping off the panda species away from China.
One of the most memorable and notable dialogues was, "don't worry son, your sad and humble beginning is not something that you should be concerned of but your current and future paths are something that you should take care off".
Although this animated movie was meant to make us laugh, it's surely leave us with somethin' significant enough as worthy lesson to us in enduring our tough and challenging life. Usually, we tend to walk down the memory lane and tell ourselves why we were not born in a luxury life of a royalty or a super-rich family but seldom we take notice about our current achievements and what we have already built for our future...
Is that fair to ourselves? Certainly not. This animated film does instill indirectly in our heart and mind that what past is to be left as a past tense. There is no benefit in mourning what that has happened but is rather practical to look forward and chart our way in accordance to our needs and aims.
Therefore, just like our beloved Harimau Malaya, it doesn't matter if we are ranked at 140-odds now but...

The Biggest Game Ever...
Malaysia Cup finale to you? For those who have experienced themselves in witnessing our home soil's domestic soccer in the past, they would agree with me that Malaysia Cup finale brings the best out from our home-made players.
This year, the east cost powerhouse, Terengganu will face the southern "yoyo performer", Negeri Sembilan in a very fiery encounter. Terengganu, being the current FA Cup champion, would need to prove that they are the force to be reckoned with. On the other hand, Negri Sembilan is such an unpredictable side as they were deemed as a no hoper in the league challenge but they have shown that Malaysia Cup is indeed their cup of tea because they had qualified for the past 2 finals and had emerged as a champion in Year 2009.
As a spectator, I expect nothing but a fiery clash between these 2 different teams. Trengganu is famous for its firepower, having the likes of Ashaari Shamsuddin, Manaf Mamat and Hadith Yahya. However, Negri Sembilan offers nothing but a balanced side with their midfield plays an importance role altogether. With Idris Karim and Shukor Adan manning the center fort firmly, Negri is further boosted by the resurgent Shahurain and another seasoned campaigner, Hai-o upfront.
To wrap up this stuff, expect nothing but a blast of your eyes tonite.

English is not to be politicised
Over the years, much has been said about how English language should be applied in our education system. Contrary to the common belief, English is a language to be mastered for several purposes, but not to be used as a tool for certain quarters' political gains.
In my opinion, English is tremendously essential for our students to ply their trade locally or abroad. To my disappointment, many of our students from public or private universities are a kind of uncomfortable to converse in this essential language despite numerous attempts by our authorities to curb the deteriorating level of English among students.
In my frank opinion, it has got to do with our grassroots-level of education. When English is not emphasized largely at this juncture, our expectation to see our offsprings to excel in the language is rather in a limbo.
My final word is, set aside our political-game for the betterment of our future leaders!!!

Second Chance Is A Blessing In Disguise...
What would second chance be in your naked eyes? To some, it mirrors the self-satisfaction moment but to me, it has provided the whole new life in particular.
Being able to cope with the youth's onslaught, a term that I have chosen to describe how my thinking was messed with the desire of a raw youth. Looking back, I feel so grateful to be able to overcome although at one time I didn't have the picture to even smell the way out of "it".
Yes, arguably most youths were at the trying time but being able to turn the table around is a whole lot sweeter than what you can imagine of. The sense of achievement is simply awesome...
Instead of succumbing to sea of sins, the turnaround has changed me to who I am today. Of course, this God-given opportunity should not be left in a lurch. It

It is quite hilarious when recently we heard how politician has manipulated the fact of history in order to achieve his political objective. Rather than telling the whole picture of the eventful Bukit Kepong's historical event, he was going around telling the half-baked story about the battle.
In the first place, did he ever consider the feeling of the survivors' offsprings? Well, it is arguable that history can be re-written but by blindly talking and preaching to the tone that would please certain quarters only, why didn't he strive to conduct some survey about the Battle of Bukit Kepong?
In my lame opinion, anyone who disregard history is a real dumbass of all. History spreads throughout generations to equip our nation with the proven research about things that could demolish the country if they are not well-taken care off.
After all, the Battle of Bukit Kepong is a true event that can absolutely inspire our younger generations to truly love their country without a single hesitation.
Finally, please put a stop to this nonsensical run-up and of course, please consider some repents before it's too LATE!!!
