The Beginning is Less Important
While watching from one hilarious scene to another, there was a scene in which the heroic panda found out that his beginning was rather horrifying and heart-wrenching. He got to know that his parents dumped him off in order to avoid the evil peacock from wiping off the panda species away from China.
One of the most memorable and notable dialogues was, "don't worry son, your sad and humble beginning is not something that you should be concerned of but your current and future paths are something that you should take care off".
Although this animated movie was meant to make us laugh, it's surely leave us with somethin' significant enough as worthy lesson to us in enduring our tough and challenging life. Usually, we tend to walk down the memory lane and tell ourselves why we were not born in a luxury life of a royalty or a super-rich family but seldom we take notice about our current achievements and what we have already built for our future...
Is that fair to ourselves? Certainly not. This animated film does instill indirectly in our heart and mind that what past is to be left as a past tense. There is no benefit in mourning what that has happened but is rather practical to look forward and chart our way in accordance to our needs and aims.
Therefore, just like our beloved Harimau Malaya, it doesn't matter if we are ranked at 140-odds now but...

The Biggest Game Ever...
This year, the east cost powerhouse, Terengganu will face the southern "yoyo performer", Negeri Sembilan in a very fiery encounter. Terengganu, being the current FA Cup champion, would need to prove that they are the force to be reckoned with. On the other hand, Negri Sembilan is such an unpredictable side as they were deemed as a no hoper in the league challenge but they have shown that Malaysia Cup is indeed their cup of tea because they had qualified for the past 2 finals and had emerged as a champion in Year 2009.
As a spectator, I expect nothing but a fiery clash between these 2 different teams. Trengganu is famous for its firepower, having the likes of Ashaari Shamsuddin, Manaf Mamat and Hadith Yahya. However, Negri Sembilan offers nothing but a balanced side with their midfield plays an importance role altogether. With Idris Karim and Shukor Adan manning the center fort firmly, Negri is further boosted by the resurgent Shahurain and another seasoned campaigner, Hai-o upfront.
To wrap up this stuff, expect nothing but a blast of your eyes tonite.

English is not to be politicised
In my opinion, English is tremendously essential for our students to ply their trade locally or abroad. To my disappointment, many of our students from public or private universities are a kind of uncomfortable to converse in this essential language despite numerous attempts by our authorities to curb the deteriorating level of English among students.
In my frank opinion, it has got to do with our grassroots-level of education. When English is not emphasized largely at this juncture, our expectation to see our offsprings to excel in the language is rather in a limbo.
My final word is, set aside our political-game for the betterment of our future leaders!!!

Big issue with bigger responsibilities: When politic has become the "Lord"
When politic has become the "Lord"
In the first place, did he ever consider the feeling of the survivors' offsprings? Well, it is arguable that history can be re-written but by blindly talking and preaching to the tone that would please certain quarters only, why didn't he strive to conduct some survey about the Battle of Bukit Kepong?
In my lame opinion, anyone who disregard history is a real dumbass of all. History spreads throughout generations to equip our nation with the proven research about things that could demolish the country if they are not well-taken care off.
After all, the Battle of Bukit Kepong is a true event that can absolutely inspire our younger generations to truly love their country without a single hesitation.
Finally, please put a stop to this nonsensical run-up and of course, please consider some repents before it's too LATE!!!

Bersih? How clean are you...?
If these are the main objectives, I shall say it is a good intention. However, being a rather realistic person, I would like to add that, if we are talking 'bout bad electoral process, crook government and unfair ruling system, how sure that the "barking" party is the "Bersihest" one?
Not to undermine the demands made by this NGO, but in real world we do not have angels to be the decision makers for us. Reality must set in. Otherwise, we will be living in a dream and nothing would be achieved.
If we want something good for ourselves, we behave as it should rather than asking other person to behave.
Come on, correct yourself first before you attempt to correct someone else. Anyhow, you are not God-sent angel after all.

How Comedy Inspires People...
Although I am not the big fan of this program, the thing I valued the most was the way Malaysian entertainment-lover react towards this type of creative performer. In the past, Malaysians were describe as "not so sporting" as their counterparts in the developed nations. Malaysians were so glued to their seats and they were cheering to the most creative ways ever.
What could we conclude in this kind of support? New trend or was it because of the performers were simply awesome? As for me, I opt for the latter as it is true that the performers were pushing themselves to the limit in order to achieve their goal. Like Richard Branson had once said, "Do something that you could gain fun in doing it and work hard for it"
To wrap up my blog this time around, I shall say, in order to create happiness, we first must be happy and the thing will work in a way that favors us.
Till then, great week ahead, chow!
Your not so funny pal,

The Uniqueness of the East Coast Derby
When Kelantan and Terengganu meet tonight, their fans are one of the most fascinating factor that would make someone falls in love with Malaysian domestic soccer once again. What ever people might want to say, these are the fans that have huge passion about their teams through bad & good times of their beloved teams. Unlike the fans from the other parts of Malaysia, these fans are so relentless and give undivided support towards their teams regardless any circumstances.
On the teams, expect the clash of the titans. Kelantan, boasting around with their lethal hitman, Norshahrul Idlan Talaha is countered by Terengganu's very own prodigy, Ashaari Samsudin which will make us feel that these are the golden generation that we were looking for.
What ever it is, let the game begins...

When Leader Fails To Listen
In many instances of my life, I have come across leaders in many arenas. Be it during my school day or at the national and world levels. Of course, leaders are not born but they were groomed to be one.
However, it is a kind of sad when leaders are not listening to the followers for the betterment of the group, society or community. They thought that they are a kind of too "flawless" to be corrected. I have seen many scenarios that leaders were shutting the door just to prove that they are all correct all the time.
Yes, I do agree that leaders must be a decision-maker but can we afford to have a decision-maker to ruin our entire life or whatever we are doing for that matter? In my opinion, leaders must sit and work together with their followers in order to achieve better result and outcome. Rather than bombardment, face-to-face talk is sometimes required for the betterment of the situation.
As for Malaysian sport, we are so blessed to have Dato' K . Rajagopal as the gaffer of our national football team. He is a kind of person who is strict but has deep human touch to handle many kind of obstacles in his team. Just imagine, to handle a former bunch of losers and later to be able transform them to a team best described as "men of steel" is no easy task. It requires deep self-reflection to achieve such feat.
In one of the talk shows that Dato' K. Rajagopal had been given the opportunity to advice, he had emphasized on face – to – face talk rather than pin-pointing and blame-shifting. Do we really need someone like him to handle the more complicated circumstances? I guess we badly need this type of guy to drive us through bad and good times.
Tun Dr Mahathir on the other hand, is a type of visionary leader. He was so open to ideas (and that was why we have KLCC, KLIA and many more great landscapes for our nation) instead of only doing his own way. He was so determined to transform Malaysia with the introduction of Wawasan 2020 and to help the Bumiputras back on track in the business world (we are all aware on how the majestic of Malay's entrepreneur being torn apart by the Portuguese until the "rule and divide" policy implemented by the British had further abolished the sense of Malay's business supremacy).
Thus, the decision is in our hand. Choose wisely as leaders are not only leaders but they are the connector to our dreams...

Barcelona is my inspiration...
To me, I have arrived to a conclusion that no matter what people would have said about our lacking and weak point, I am pretty sure that we have a mountain high talent within us to prove them wrong. Just like Barcelona, people were making irrelevant comparison about the players' height against their English counterpart but they have proven that superiority is always in our mind and not in the physical side per se.
Thus, if we are lacking in term of our look and other physical related area, there must be some territories that belong to us.
Think back and chart our way, of course!)

A sense of pride...
Malaysia and Hong Kong has shown some good signals about our team.
Despite Hong Kong's domination throughout the game, our boys were indeed never behind in term of composure. Although they were trailing, Hadith Yahya has equalised the score, and this was done in front of Hong Kong's fans.
The post - match interview with Hong Kong's gaffer was a lil' bit on the sour side. He blatantly claimed that our team does not deserve to win the match as we didn't create a lot of chances. Sounds familiar, right? Whatever....
On the positive notes, we were not that bad even without many regulars (due to their duty with our Olympic team) but Datuk K Rajagopal has worked his magic once again.
After all, watch out Taiwan, coz we Malaysians, are going after your delicious...scalp!!!

When the tribe speaks...
Despite hectic schedule of my daily routines,
I am taking a "time off" now in order to energize myself back to supreme condition.
Recently, someone told me that a motivated person is a person who spends his time wisely. It sounds cliche but I have the first hand experience myself.
Many years ago, I was thinking that by focusing entirely on certain target, I would be able to achieve greater height. However, time has taught me that that was not the case.
Many bad situation happened in the past due to fatigue. Why fatigue? Based from my observation, mishap does happen but it can be avoided.
Being obsessed about something does no good in the long run. I came into the conclusion that time that is well spent is the period that we produce the most.
In this regards, stay cheerful with whatever you are doing and work hard when it matters the most.

Big issue with bigger responsibilities: To Spur Our Confidence...
To Spur Our Confidence...
Pakistan, a nation that we are gonna be meeting on 20th Jan 2011, poses less threat than other nation in the Asian region. Nevertheless, our team should not take "on - paper" assumption to the real playing pitch as the outcome would be disastrous. They must treat each and every assignment as equally important in order to emerge as a victor.
Further, the history - charged team, with two consecutive wins (SEA Games 2009 and AFF Suzuki Cup 2010) over a period of two years need no less than substantial justification.
Among my short but significance wish list in Year 2011, it is to witness our national football team keeps on growing and to continue making impacts in the heart of Malaysian. With all due respect to other segments of inspiring moments, I have a strong attachment that laymen like us could have been motivated to such an impact if team like our football team continues to cheer us up with morale - boosting victories like in the recent AFF Suzuki Cup campaign.
Harimau Malaya Rocks!!!
